“Sleep In The Middle Of A Glacier At This Stunning New Hotel In Alaska”

Talk about your WOW factor & curb appeal!!! Location, Location, Location!!

The Sheldon Chalet is perched on an isolated granite peak within a magnificent glacier, 6,000 ft above the Don Sheldon Amphitheater and ten miles from the summit of Denali National Park in Alaska. Located on five private acres, the Sheldon Chalet sleeps up to ten guests in five bedrooms featuring brilliant panoramas of the Alaska Range from every angle.

Opening in February 2018, The Sheldon Chalet is the vision of Alaskan pioneers, Don and Roberta Sheldon, their children Robert Sheldon and sister Kate, who have both turned the Sheldon family dream into a reality. The location was discovered by legendary glacier pilot Don Sheldon who claimed the land more than 60 years ago while mapping the Alaska Range with Brad Washburn. Previously accessible only to experienced mountain climbers, visitors can now enjoy true luxury in the middle of an icy paradise retreat.

The Chalet can accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 bedrooms with huge picture windows that frame the surroundings.  The five guest rooms can accommodate two single beds or a king.  The Tulikivi fireplace keeps the second floor warm, and radiant heaters are also provided in each room. Guests can choose a shared experience or a private experience available through a property buy out.
