Iwan Rheon says Marvel’s Inhumans is an “origin story” that sets up the classic comic book status quo

Marvel’s new series Inhumans will function as a prequel of sorts to the comic book, according to star Iwan Rheon.The ex-Game of Thrones star told Digital Spy that the ABC sci-fi drama is an “origin story” for characters like Black Bolt (Anson Mount) and Medusa (Serinda Swan).Rheon, who plays Maximus, explained that he didn’t have much time to read the original comics before filming, as he landed the part just a week after completing filming on Sky Atlantic’s Riviera.

Marvel’s new television series ‘Marvel’s Inhumans’ will premiere Friday, Sept. 29, on ABC

Well, this should be fun!!!

The legendary comic book series will be brought to life in a way that has never been done before, as a version of the first two episodes will be shown globally in IMAX theaters for a two-week period, beginning Sept. 1. ABC will then air the entirety of the series throughout this fall on the network, with additional exclusive content that can only been seen on ABC.

‘Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling’ Special Brings Back Classic Cast | Animation Magazine

Nickelodeon has confirmed that a cavalcade of cast members from the original ‘90s series will reprise their roles for the brand-new, original, hour-long TV movie Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling. Written and executive produced by the hit toon’s creator, Joe Murray, the special will premiere in 2018.

Netflix Introduces ‘Choose Your Own Adventure’ Television — We’re Just Waiting for Interactive House of Cards

Netflix announced Tuesday plans to create “Interactive Storytelling” with its programming. Netflix has already announced three examples for users to experience — Puss in Book: Trapped in an Epic Tale, a Puss in Boots story, Buddy Thunderstruck: The Maybe Pile, and Stretch Armstrong: The Breakout, however, the latter will not be released until next year.

What a cool idea.  Books like this were always fun, this should be great.

How ‘America’s Got Talent’ Standout, Deaf Singer Mandy Harvey, ‘Feels’ The Music | CPR

The singer, who moved from Colorado to Florida, learned how to “feel” the music, as she explained to Colorado Matters host Ryan Warner in 2010. “I’ll feel and concentrate the drums through the floor, through my feet and then the bass through your chest. And then if a saxophone player is next to me then it will be on my arm. So you just designate different parts of your body so you can concentrate on who’s playing what and when,” she said.
