I haven’t been keeping up with this blog & website but I have a VERY good reason!
As many know, my husband and I currently live in Alaska year-round. We’ve been here for about three years but things are changing!
Hubby has landed a new opportunity that will require us to relocate to the Mid-Atlantic Coastal region of the “Lower 48” – so we are in the middle of making that move happen.
As you can imagine, moving from or to Alaska is no easy feat! I’ve moved dozens and dozens of time in my life, but Alaska is by far the most challenging of all the moves I’ve made.
Anywho – I may not be able to update this blog as often as I would like during the process. We already have all of our stuff packed & ready for the movers to pack up and hubby flies out to the East Coast this week to settle things out there. I will have some down-time in between now & the date of our Ferry ride back to the Lower 48 – so I may be able to get some updates done during this time – but no promises 😉
Keep your eyes peeled to see how this goes for us – there will at least be lots of interesting stuff about the Inland Passage Ferry Ride headed south and then the Cross Country trip from West Coast to East Coast while accompanied by our dog and cat. I’m sure I’ll find something to write about then!
My best to all of you – and see you soon!!
